Beistle

Beistle has been making party decorations in Carlisle, Pennsylvania since 1900, which makes it older than almost every party brand in America.

The company started with a problem nobody had solved. In 1900, hotels decorated their lobbies with live plants and then spent all their time watering them. Martin Luther Beistle figured out how to manufacture decorative plants from paper instead, and The Beistle Company was born. More than 120 years later it is still headquartered in Carlisle, and its honeycomb tissue decorations remain the thing it is best known for.

The catalogue has grown to over 8,000 items across every holiday on the calendar, and the Hanukkah pieces land firmly at the fun end of the festival. These are the decorations you put out when the point is that everyone laughs: spring-mounted dreidel boppers, printed cutouts, garlands and tissue centerpieces built for a room full of kids and latkes.
