Very cute, but disappointed

I bought a pair for myself and my sister. They look great at first glance. However, you have to have pretty thin ear lobes to wear these. The space for the clasps doesn't leave a lot of room for your ear. I could barely clasp the earring properly. They really pinch your ears, and they are a hefty metal which would be fine, but that adds to the discomfort wearing them.
They're terribly cute though so this is really disappointing.
