Description
Creativity takes courage. These beautiful Handcrafted African Square Arm Menorahs are made in Africa while making a real difference in local communities. African Creative was founded in 2004, and invests in environmentally responsible and socially ethical production.
The skills of each of these craftspeople are encouraged to blossom to their full potential, emphasizing their sustainable livelihoods.
Each handcrafted menorah is as unique and bold as the hands that crafted it. And yet, we strive to ensure similarity and consistency across our range. They have chic, contemporary styles, each with its distinct African flare.

Chai Modern is a Cape Town design studio that makes traditional Judaica in a simple, fresh and modern way. The name is the idea: chai means life, and the studio sets out to bring that to modern Jewish families. Everything is made in South Africa and shipped around the world.
Its collections carry Yiddish names like Mensch, Chutzpah, Oy Vey and Zilch, and are worked in ceramic, wood and metal, acrylic, eco resin and wire, from menorahs, candlesticks and challah boards to seder plates, matzah covers and tallit bags. Chai Modern pieces have also been sold by the Jewish Museum shop in New York and by Maisonette.
