Dorit Judaica is the work of Dorit Klein, a seventh-generation Israeli who painted from a young age and spent many years in commercial graphic design before turning to her real love, Jewish art.
She weaves Jewish texts, blessings and prayers into her designs, pairing traditional paper-cut style patterns with modern laser cutting. The result is bold and colorful but rooted in tradition, across menorahs, mezuzahs, seder plates, Shabbat candlesticks, challah trays and home blessing wall hangings, with floral and pomegranate motifs running through much of the line.
It's also a workplace with a conscience: Dorit employs workers with special needs through Supported Employment to help complete her pieces.
