It began just after World War II with a small card and havdalah candle delivered to families in the old Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. A small handful of customers has grown since into one of the the most well known and respected supplier of candles, oil lamps, chanukiahs, and related Judaica in the world. Ner Mitzvah is still family owned to this day and still brings joy and warmth to the Jewish homes around the globe.

My order of Hanukkah candles was delivered on time. The candles were pretty to look at. They burned bright and clean with minimal cleanup needed. I will order them again. I was very pleased and satisfied with the quality of these candles.

These were perfect for our Hanukkiah. I liked how several melted down the menorah in such a pretty melt. I’m still savoring the look around the Hebrew word for Dedication on it. Fire has different colors , shades and so the result of there colorful candles shows these flame colors in a Hanukkiah and afterwards a flow of color saved in wax rivers that honestly I can’t quite clean up yet. We loved the effects.
