No one knows exactly how the first Temple's columns looked because no conclusive archaeological evidence has been found. We do know that King Solomon's Temple had two pillars in the front: the right pillar was named Jachin, which means "to establish"; the left one was named Boaz which means "in strength". Different commentaries give different details, but they are thought to have been cast in solid bronze and toward at 6 feet in diameter and 27 feet high. Laura Cowan has created her own interpretation using her signature elements of elongated cones.
