Disappointing, not child friendly

This wooden puzzle claims to be easy to assemble, with clear step by step instructions. However, it is difficult to assemble, even for an adult, and could not engage my 9 year old granddaughter. A hammer was ultimately required to fit the pieces together; it was a lengthy and frustrating experience.
