The stars were at a Kabbalist conference in Tel Aviv to celebrate Rosh Hashanah.
Madonna also had the privilege of meeting Israeli President Shimon Peres who, the Jerusalem Post reports, presented her with a copy of the Old Testament. Madonna reciprocated by presented Perez with a copy of the Zohar.
