No one knows exactly how the first Temple's columns looked because no conclusive archeological evidence has been found. We do know that King Solomon's Temple had two pillars in the front: the right pillar was named Jachin, which means "to establish"; the left one was named Boaz which means "in strength". Different commentaries give different details, but they are thought to have been cast in solid bronze and toward at 6 feet in diameter and 27 feet high. Laura Cowan has created her own interpretation using her signature elements of elongated cones. The cups come in either sterling silver or sliver-plate. The bases are expertly turned on a lathe from the highest aircraft quality aluminum and then highly polished to a mirror shine. Laura signs each one. Materials: Sterling Silver or Silver-Plate, Aviation Quality Aluminum. SIZE: 9" H
